Matthew — Core Potentials - Osteopathy, Energy Medicine, & Nutrition

Matthew Hoogveld

(he/his) BKIN, DOMP, Osteopathic Practitioner

Matthew is a seasoned professional in the field of Kinesiology, with over a decade of experience working with a diverse range of clients. Whether it’s athletes, individuals with disabilities, those recovering from accidents or conditions such as cancer, digestive issues, migraines, cardiovascular disease, or respiratory diseases, or even babies and young adults, Matthew has dedicated himself to improving their well-being.

Having studied at the University of British Columbia Okanagan and Graduated with Honours from the Canadian School Of Osteopathy. His extensive knowledge spans various areas, including biomechanical movement, human patterning, neurodevelopmental sequencing, and has an immense passion working with babies/infants.

Matthew’s approach to therapy is unique in that he rekindles the sense of play while facilitating conscious movement patterns. By doing so, he helps his clients regain their quality of life, return to work, engage in sports, and enjoy recreational activities.

At the heart of Matthew’s practice is his person-centered approach, to be “who he needed when he was younger,” ensuring that each individual receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs and goals.

Beyond clinic walls, Matthew is on a personal journey of self-discovery. Having overcome six knee surgeries from his days as a high-level soccer and lacrosse player, he’s found new passions. While those intense high-level athletic chapters are now closed, Matthew thrives in pursuits like golf and badminton. Matthew keeps his youthful spirit alive with his adventurous Lego Builds and you just might find him grooving in hip hop dance classes. Beyond the physical Matthew is a skilled meditator, curious reader, and an adventurous soul who dares to take cold dips in the ocean.
